Lluc-Alcari

Lluc Alcari – Es Canyeret or Platja de Lluc Alcari takes its name from latin and Arab origins, and it can be traduced as “house of the forest”. The rocks, some of them very big and pebbles create this beautiful small cove, it is a perfect haven for snorkeling due to its crystal waters.

One of the locals favourite pastimes here is to cover yourself in the natural mineral rich mud thats found next to a fresh water stream, situated next to a fig tree. Perch yourself on one of the many large rocks and breath in the scent of pine trees that create a backdrop. When the time comes to rinse the mud off diving into the turquoise mediterranean offers the perfect therapy.

Lluc Alcari is also a nudist beach and has a thoroughly chilled out ‘free spirit vibe’.

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and around 10 minutes from the centre if Deia. There is a beautiful coastline walk from Cala Deia to Lluc Alcari that takes around 30 minutes.
